This just got posted and i am about to try it. make sure you do above first before trying this so we can eliminate issues.
Registry Sub Key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\USB\FunctionDrivers\RND IS]
Name of the Value to add: MTU Type : DWORD Data: 1514 (Value is Decimal)

Finally got around to checking out what you posted. Not sure if you are running Vista or not, but I am.
When I go into HKLM there is no Drivers Key. I searched through the registry and there is also no Drivers Key.
This is also my findings on my XP Pro box at work.
I also could not find an RNDIS key.

I am so sorry, no I am not running Vista, I am using XP pro at work and home. Those reg entries are supposed to be made on your phn not the computer. With those entries you no longer have to disable active sync on the computer, just plug and enjoy. Install active sync on your work computer, if you have rights or permissions to do that (I do and I did). then try internet sharing again. Mine works on every xp pro computer I have tried so far not including non active sync computers.
