I haven't really looked, but none of the sprint versions that I have seen come through my store have had that problem. It all depends on what your viewing and the limitations of a qvga device lcd screen. On my phone and other electronics in my store, if you tilt the screen forward, darker images get lighter and lighter images get darker. Tilt it the other way, the reverse happens. From side to side, no change. LCD technology is still improving, but this is something I am aware of, and don't notice because I know most lcd screens have these properties. The Diamond will fix ya with it's vga!
