I now use the 1500 daily. I get a full day out of the phone. I am constantly making calls, flipping through Sprint TV, checking my email, etc.

I don't know if I am the only person that this has happened to but, in my opinion, the full-extended battery is a complete rip off. I mean, most people charge thier phones at the end of the day anyways. I always carry my OEM battery with me just in case. The only time that I had to use the OEM is when I was stuck at an airport in Miami. Other than that, I have had no problems.

When I contacted Sedieo to ask them about this, I was told that the heat generated by the larger battery has the tendancy to degrade the lifespan of the Li-ion cells. Now, because of the fact that there are almost double the amount of cells, there is also quite more heat. The slim battery generates no more heat than the OEM battery, thus, rendering it a longer life span. Hope this helped!
Thanks, I was leaning toward the Seidio battery but was debating between the two only because of size factor. But, your information may help me decide otherwise.

I was looking at my wifes blackberry curve and noticed something similar when I took off the back as well and saw that it clearly had to be something else. Oh well. The Diamond has flash and autofocus
