Re: Where to buy accessories for PPC-6700?

On many styluses the stylus tip is NOT large enough for a reset (not the case on the 6700) but thats why they mention it

Ebay rocks for cell acc's IGNORE shipping. ADD cost plus shipping THATS your price. I just bought (all oem) 5 regular batteries for $23 an extended battery for $14 (dolt no back) so another extended battery for $12 with a back (all prices include shipping) I also got that nice Red Leather case for like $11 shipped.

I am eying the aluminum case for "transport storage" i protecting it when not in use.

I am also eyeing the $12 touch screen replacement since mine has some scratches on it. Has anyone done this? How hard is it and whats my chances of fubarring it I have done LCD replacements on my zodiac successfully but it did not have a slider to confuse things.

I want a spare LCD as a just in case but I can almost buy another phone for just a bit more than the replacement screen. Wait long enough you can get one for $80 its $50 for the screen. So I will probably just wait and get another phone or two as backups.

I do need to get some more styli but am out of cash right now

I WANT some holster clips (the plastic ones) but damn there $12 each !! I am used to pay $4-$6 a pop !! I need 4 of them (I cut off the clip and hard mount them inside each car. Get in the car pop it in place. I can get charging cradles for LESS so I may go that route and leave a space battery in that extra charging slot of each one

Thing is its not so "easy" to slide them onto those and I DO NOT like the use the USB port as the cradle mount point. I am betting this is why the USB ports die. IE not designed to be used like that. I prefer separate hard mount contacts for the electrical and if I get brave enough I may hack it and add some to save my USB port.
