boggsie pretty much nailed it... Other ROMs just have more/different applications, plugins, etc...
If you have a solid setup then why mess with it???
You can always add all the same apps that other ROMs have...
One good reason to upgrade is to keep up with recent releases of WM 6.1...
I only had the Alltel ROM on my phone long enough to flash another ROM over top so I can't remember whether it was 6.0 or 6.1...
