Call #8899 to go straight to tech support.
Once you're talking to them, tell them when you try to call you get a "can't authenticate message."
Calls come in, but you can't make calls.
Tell them you tried the #228 stuff, and reseting, but nothing worked.

When we called, he checked some stuff, then told us to remove the battery and wait 30secs before replacing it.
Once the phone was back on, it worked fine.
Thanks for the reply. I called for a rep for the third time on the authentication issues. MUCH better support this time around. She tried to send me the update over the phone, but it failed. A previous tech asked me to do a hard reset on the phone and she explained to me that a the phone loses it's authentication key that way. Now, if you're still with me, be careful here. She guided me to changing my authentication key manually by dialing ##778. This takes me into back settings of the phone. I hit the Edit button and enter a six digit password of all 0's. There is an abundance of phone/network information from here. I had to enter in my A-Key as it was blank, a 26 digit code the tech supplied me. I saved the settings, the phone rebooted, and made two successful test calls. Whoohoo!
