these are probably people using those cheap ebay or cheap brand cards. i've owned many sandisk cards from 512 to a few GBs and never have i had a problem with corrupted files on storage card.

i always suggest paying extra for a little better card if you're storing sensitive data, but i also suggest not using it as the only method for backup.. occasionally i copy and make a mirror of my storage card to pc just in case. plus you never know when you're going to loose the phone or have it stolen. at least you can restore to a new phone most of the stuff if you had a mirrored image located somewhere else.

i'm thinking of using ftp option in sprite backup to save the files somewhere remotely.
