The new unlocker is only for GPS roms, you need to flash a new rom and radio to make use of it. Check the stickies in the upgrades forum
Alternatively, if for some reason you don't like GPS (or want the option to go back to stock hint hint) you can just boot it into the OS and run the old unlocker before it resets itself. Then you'll be back to where you were.
