I have been having the same issue with nexvisions wad rom, i thought it was the rom but mabye this is an issue with wad... let me know how you make out. I run the fix unread count utility and sometimes it seems to work after a softreset and other times it does not. It is also not just in the wad interface either its in spb ms as well.
