Unhappy Re: PSP + Mogul?

You'll very likely NEVER get your PSP to work with WMWifiRouter.

To my knowledge, there is NO KNOWN MANNER in which to configure a Windows Mobile WLAN NIC for broadcasting in Infrastructure mode, which the PSP requires for an active "Internet Connection." While true they seem to be able to network fine in Ad-Hoc mode with *each other,* and even some other devices, with limited success, I've read, PSPs are simply not "Internet Connection" friendly in Ad-Hoc mode using WMWifiRouter.

I've been running WMWifiRouter since it's inception, and seen many improvements and upgrades throughout the successive releases, and it's always been a respectfully versatile and reliable application that I'd recommend to ANYONE with a PPC phone. I've run WMWifiRouter on an HTC Wizard (Cingular 8125) as well as on my HTC Kaiser (AT&T Tilt / 8925) in both Windows Mobile 5, and Windows Mobile 6 Pro, and no combination of versions seems to make any difference to the PSP. It solely seems to see "black and white," Infrastructure or Ad-Hoc.

Unfortunately, until someone scraps together a solution (likely an install file for the PSP itself) there'll be no foreseeable PSP + WMWifiRouter friendship on the horizon.

Sorry!

(If someone knows of a solution, by God please let me know as I've been troubleshooting all day, and scouring the web all evening for a successful SmartPhone->PSP internet connection sharing solution!)
