I deleted the temp folder ... but I'm a little concerned about these viruses ... my virus protection was unable to do anything but warn me (ie: couldn't remove the virus, couldn't quarantine the virus) ... my only option was to remove the files ... I decided to uninstall the entire program ... reran the virus scan and all is clear again ...
I like the kitchen ... but ... I'm worried about the possibility of corrupting data on my laptop ... this is the same laptop that has all the data for my business ... I ran the virus scan on my portable hard drive (my backup device) and somehow the viruses where there also (in my backup of the kitchen) ... after I deleted the files there the scan is clean again ... so no real harm yet ... but still concerns me ... I would of never guessed I would of had problems from anything gotten at this forum ... maybe it didn't come from ppcgeeks ... maybe the viruses came from my internet provider (hi speed dsl cable) ... I don't know how these things work ... but I certainly can't afford to start loosing data or programs ... I lost a laptop last december to a nasty virus (my bad, opened an email I didn't know where it came from ... immeadiately I got warnings ... but this thing worked fast) ... destroyed the ram ... I was lucky ... HP was so interested in the virus that they gave me a new laptop for my contaminated laptop ... so all ended well
Hope this doesn't upset anyone .. I'm not in any way blaming ppcgeeks ... just warning others incase ... maybe someone connected to the kitchen can verify its not the kitchen files ... I'm guessing it's something to due with the downloading in the updater since all the contaminated files where in the updater temp file ... probably my internet provider ... but like they say ... an once of provention is worth a pound of cure ... hope this helps someone

I think you got a false positive from your antivirus program. I have been running this w/ Symantec Corporate Edition and AVG without any issues. If something was really up... I would suspect that it would of already been mentioned here or in the Titan realm.
