3. Installed Ghetto's V7.00 ROM - pretty close to a Bell Stock Rom

Everything works. I noticed my download speeds haven't changed. Still getting 800kbps - 1000kbps download as before but not sure if I'm in a Rev A area (Vancouver).

NOTE: Gps did not work right off the bat. It would not find any satellites no matter how long I left it on my porch. Google Maps wouldn't even show the blue dot that everyone here is talking about. I thought I did something wrong and was about to redo everything and then I remembered that there was a Location Setting in the Phone Setting that was either ON or for 911 only. I found that it was for 911 only so I changed it to be ON. From that point on, the GPS worked. even got the blue dot in Google Maps.

My average lock times are about 2 minutes.
I'm in Vancouver (Richmond) on Bell and get fast and several gps locks and use google maps (4-7) sats, and tomtom nav (full bars). I get exact gps coordinates with GPSViewer and it also opens up the port for the internal GPS.
I use Ghetto's 700 ROM, GPSViewer.PPC300_2577, radio: 3.35.04.
I am now trying upgrade to the latest tomtom maps. Excellent battery life, nice vista black wallpaper, very convienient launcher, very seldom freezes if you install properly.
I am very happy with this set-up. Just read all of Ghettos thread for instructions and settings.
Great work guys!
