I went from Palm to the Touch and I installed the Outlook program and ActiveSync by following the Palm directions. You have that decision when you purchased the Palm.

After installation I syncronized the Palm with Outlook and then uninstalled the Palm and installed the Touch.

Now all my contacts and appointments were on Outlook and when the Touch syncronized with Outlook everything came over.
