I don't see why it wouldn't be compatible when those ROM's usually say 3.xx radio compatible on the label.

I think mine's 'back to normal' as well.

A bluetooth receiver takes just as long to get a cold fix. you cant expect a 10 second fix every single time. GPS results vary greatly even depending on the weather and your position (gps signal strength from the satellites).

The Kaiser was released with gps out of the box, so it seems like HTC spent more time on perfecting those to work well right away. But either way, when i had a kaiser it took a good minute to start up also. I dont think it was all that much better cold-start wise. It was a little more stable but of course were using cracked drivers not meant for our phone.

But i dont think taking Mogul drivers/radio (thought were already using the mogul dll's anyways?) and putting them into the Touch will change that much until an ifficial optimized update is out for us
I agree, that's why the Kaiser is so much more accurate.

I hear lots of complaints about getting a fix but I'm not gonna complain. I'm just glad that GPS is active and that it works, eventually.

Maybe we can start a poll soon to see how different radios are affecting GPS reception.
