Is there either:

A) a hack available to make the vision arrows work/display as they did in the 2.x ROM's

and/or

B) a way to cook this into a custom ROM

I personally like to know when data transfer is occuring on my device.

I'm sure the answer to this is burried somewhere in one of the huge 3.x ROM threads, but in my opinion this issue needs it's own thread.
