Did you run thru the stuff you did with your mogul, including regedits? Baf's GPS plugin says that if your device turns off while it's set to on, your GPS will in sorta lag. I think this applies to any program/plugin dealing with the GPS.. Also check this

I would sometimes forget I have the GPS enabled and press the power button. Afterwards the GPS would either not work or lag until I soft reset.
