Three words : Use GPS Viewer!!!
I have been bummed all day cause I installed the Alltel ROM and JDs ROM yesterday and all I was getting was some aGPS location crap which was wayyyy off...
So tonight I installed the Holux GPS Viewer (
Found here... ) and saw all kinds of different satellites but no locks... I literally walked out into the middle of the street and BAM!!! In the status screen of GPS viewer the red outlines change to solid blue and all of a sudden I automagically know where I am... Well at least Google Maps knows where I am... =)
Once again much thanks to everyone making this work and props to JD for making the ROM which makes the entire process smoother.
