it is normal to get the alltel splashscreen (obviously, right??) but it is normal when I connect to the internet it says "contecting to: alltel wireless, dialing *777"? it connects fine but shouldn't it still say connecting to sprint..." since I am on their network? My home screen says Sptint PCS....

You can go in to Connection Settings, and rename the existing connection. No more "Connecting to Alltel"
