Make sure you go to the GPS settings on GPS Tuner and select Com 4 and auto conn 1. This is how I got it the GPS to work, however I cannot get the compass to work at all. You do not need another program to "start" your gps. The compass problem seems to be a static issue with the GPS chipset. From what I gather we cannot turn off static on the Mogul. Maybe someone else can chime in and provide a little info as well. Hope this helps.
