Good morning, everyone. Surfing a few threads yielded no leads, so I'm asking here.

I received a XV6800 last night, and the first thing I did (out of ignorance) was to try to flash it as quick as I could. Of course, I activated it before I flashed to make sure the thing worked first, and it went fine.

As for the flash, for the most part, it seems to have taken, except now I cannot make phone calls or initiate a modem call. Would this have something to do with not copying down the MSID, MDN and (possibly) Akey? It *seems* to be working otherwise, and the cellular modem obviously works because I'm getting Verizon's friendly "no authentication" message after a few rings.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. If anyone thinks a phone call to them would clear this up (with the typical 'I don't know, it looks like it hard reset' ploy,) well, that'd be good to know.

For the record, would writing down and reapplying those numbers from the ##778 menu prevent this from having to be fixed up in the future? It'd be nice to know that I won't have to call Verizon every time I update the rom.
