I am having exactly the same problem, and it is driving me crazy. On my HTC Wizard I could have numerous apps in the background with the same amount of available RAM. However, Mogul with 3.35 (I received that way from Sprint), it typically auto-closes most anything in the background more than a couple of seconds.

Anyone know what might be going on here?
