Re: What Could Cause the Mogul to Be Extremely Unresponsive?

I’m glad someone else made a post about this. *Bashful n00b*

I actually noticed something unusual after using PIM backup. I used it to restore messages from my Q (all 4500 of them) to my Mogul. After loading them up, I was able to view them all fine and dandy-like. The problem was as follows: where I had originally started up with 24MB of free RAM (running 3.35 stock), it was now starting with 22MB, and after a while, it would bottom out to around 17-19MB.

Damn.

So, I figured some of those could stand being archived. I can’t explain it, but running PIM backup again and storing them in one of those nifty little files on my SD card got me back up to the norm, with no memory leak. Now the number of messages on my card is creeping up to around 1000 again and I am noticing a bit of a leak again. However, I have a feeling this time around it may have something to do with the large number of programs I’ve installed/uninstalled lately.

Anyone else notice anything like this?
