Re: Introducing the iCube

Thought I'd answer here, too.

ETA on iCube2 and MusicFlo (TouchFlo2 clone) is hopefully by next month for both of them. iCube2 will probably come out first as it is the least labor intensive. Sorry for the long delay, but this is just a hobby, and my normal life sometimes has to come first. I may release MusicFlo without all the bells and whistles I originally planned, just to get it out here, and then add more bells and a few whistles as time progresses and later versions come out. We'll see.

Any Cube will be just as memory intensive as the original HTC Cube, probably more so since there are more icons for the customized cube. Cubes take up between 8 and 10 MB of RAM. No way has been found to integrate the Today screen with a Cube. Sorry.

MusicFlo should do better, depending on what type of icons you use. Right now using PNG icons MusicFlo is using about 1.25MB. I haven't finished the Contacts "side" yet, and I haven't added backgrounds either, so that may increase it a little, but as long as you use small file formats (PNG, JPG) you shouldn't see it get larger than 2MB or so.

Thanks for all your interest and kind words!
