I tend to agree about being overpriced but you can either get the CD or download a few singles online. There are also plenty of ways to just listen to stuff for free if you don't want to buy it. I'm not saying I never download without paying but there are certainly ways to get just the songs you like. I usually tend to buy the CDs of bands I see live. I would rather pay $8 at a merch table than $15 at the store. Besides, most of the bands I end up seeing live aren't even big enough to sell CDs at the store. I mostly order tracks online (never iTunes) or buy from the band's own merch table.
