One thing I did have to do to get TomTom and the GPS to work after I upped to the newer sprint ROM was to d/l some program... I believe astroGPSlauncher to get the GPS signal to actually be called.

Anyone familiar with this and use TomTom? I've got a working device right now, and while I don't mind flashing around for a bit, but I don't want to break something that's working.

Thanks for any input.

Also... glad to see all the flames and posts stopped after about page 23... It's a real PITA to read through all that stuff to get to the meat of the thread. Maybe the mods can dump all those posts to another sub thread.... just a thought.

AstroGPS is included in the kitchen with launcher links for Navizon and iGo only right now since TomTom and iGuidance are not part of the kitchen. We could always add them in as optional.

Unfortunately turning on the gps through a launcher for some apps is needed because they don't turn it on themselves. There's also Baf's GPS toggler today plugin which keeps gps running even when the GPS apps are closed.
