SDHC Memory Card - viewable on the PC

Just went trough hell and back trying to format my newly purchased Sandisk 4GB SDHC card to FAT32.
my phone read the card, but my thinkpad x60 would not.
turns out you need a Microsoft Hotfix, to enable the SDHC read capabilities for Windows XP.
but you go to Microsoft's support page (here), - they only discuss what the hotfix is, they don't actually GIVE you the hotfix. FRUSTRATING.. after search forever i finally had to register at some stupid hotfix web site to download the file.
installed, it, restarted the laptop, and presto. done. can now read the SDHC card. formatted it to FAT32, and am good to go.

So for my friends out there, i though i would post this information, as hopefully it will help you as well.
VERIZONGUY, over in the Apache forum, posted the actual file. wish i would have searched here first - ARRRGHHH !
so if you need the file - here it is.

KB923293-v4-x86-ENU.exe
KB923293
