Guys, I'm new at this so forgive my ignorance. I purchased a VZW XV6800 a couple of weeks ago and find the phone volume to be quite soft. Like many of the posts I've read, I keep asking people to repeat what they've just said. Again, reading the posts about the Audiopara.csv and going back and forth about doing a download/indatllation, I thought I would look in the windows file and see if I had one of my own. Eureka, I do have that file! Unfortunately it will not open because there is no application association. I have to open the application then open the file. Catch 22. How in the world does one open an application then open the bloody file if there is no "Open" tag on the file menu? Since I have seen the Audiopara file after having downloaded it to my computer and opening it via Excel, I figured I could open it in Excel on my XV6800. Nope! Doesn't compute. I just want to see if I can increase the volume in the existing file without having to download and install an outside .cab is that too much to ask??? Does anyone have any suggestions I could try without frying my phone?
