I'm going to second each of the first comments. Also I like the keyboard better.

The biggest was probably that the XV6800 has a standard mini-USB and I have probably about a dozen or more mini USB cables so I'm fine there. Also I carry one in my backpack which is good for quick charging.

Then the design. The numeric pad may be slightly more versatile, but the 6800 isn't tiny and the number pad wouldn't help me too much. I'm for aesthetics-and also in high school...

The 6800 has a 2MP camera vs 1.3 (not always better, but enough % wise to make a difference in prints if I ever try that). The 6800 has twice the internal memory of the i760.

The Mogul was popular and HTC has a good name.
