ahh yes, I wasn't sure at first if I had seen this but yes, I have indeed tried this.

its a stand alone program that is quite small when installed, and plays through windows media player on the 6700

it essentially downloads "links" or mms:'s that wmp wil open up.
I had 2 packs installed, cbs and I believe cnn.

the problem is, they were never LIVE tv, or if they were, it wasn't something I was interested in. I remember one of the streams was set at 700k which looked great, but was too high without bufering every few minutes.

there is a site that offers it for download for free (illegally) but I'd rather not post it. I downloaded it with the intentions of buying it until I saw it wasn't much use to me. I use ORB (free) and I have a tv tuner at home, but I only have basic cable, and I was looking for something that would stream CNN or FOX news etc. this didn't do it for me.

hope this helps. if you are looking for a streaming tv solution (not dependant on live) and you don't have ORB then you might want to try this. Mobitv is also out I believe, you might want to look into that. iirc, that's a monthly subscription based service. honestly though, I'm not so sure you can't get the same thing this offers for free through rss feeds or podcasts. I suspect it simply gives a list of podcasts into wmp that wmp then streams once connected, hence the no monthly fee.
