Question Txt msg issue / contact managers

I have a seemingly unique issue regarding contact managers & text messaging...

I've always had my caller ID blocked, then enable it for the numbers I want using a *82 prefix. Last winter I finally upgraded my old handset to my first PPC and discovered that the outlook contact manager on WM6 dosen't really like that. So as a work around, I had to add extra numbers in those contacts I wanted caller ID enabled. ie: a 2nd entry under 'car' for mobile numbers w/o the *82 prefix. It's rather kludgy, especially if I have multiple numbers for one contact... home, mobile, work, (work2?) etc.

WM also has very small photo ID for incomming calls; so after trying quite a few CM managers, I resigned myself to taking the memory hit and installed Photo Contacts Pro. (Only one I've been able to find that offers full screen caller ID.) It has a lot of handy bells & whistles, unfortunately with my *82 solution, I'm unable to use it to send txt messages. Nor am I able to send them with the native txt message manager, without first editing the recepiant to delete the *82 prefix.

And so.. I'm trying to find a solution that lets me keep my caller ID block, and eliminates the txt messaging hassles. (Other than the obvious; disabling the block and keying in *67 on the calls I want blocked.)

Anyone have any insight?
Thanks for reading my verbosity.
