Yes, I imported my work's certificate (it is internally generated) and tried to use activesync. It now shows as an intermediate certificate on my xv6800. But when I try to use activsync, it says that the certificate is not valid.
I don't know our domain. I got an address from our Outlook 2003 program at work: outlook|tools|options|mail setup|email accounts|view|change - but I think that is just the internal address as it ends in .lcl (local?)
I tried to use the MobiPush. No go. It can't figure out the settings.
Until six months ago, I used the Verizon push program at my desktop. I showed it to an IT guy to show him how cool it was. The next week our IT shut that down and took away my administrative rights on my work computer
When I asked why, they said that they will not support PPC, only blackberrys. That is their call - I don't begrudge them their decision or anything. It must be difficult to operate an IT for a large entity, and I don't understand all of the possible security issues involved in supporting myriad devices.
I guess I will have to be satisfied with accessing OWA through opera.
