My PPC6700 has done a similar thing for over 2 years with several different ROMs. Some times it will turn on the screen daily or more and sometimes it will go for days without doing it. I have kind of decided it is related to ActiveSync which to me is a lot like a virus in that it does what it wants with out allowing the user to disable it. I could live just fine with out it but it would be more useful if there were a way to enable/disable it on the PPC6700.
