Sorry searched and got one hit that you need to call verizon to get a new key?

I flashed my rom to RdZLyZs custom ROM(WM6.1) and seems to work ok cept its failing the data connection. I have unlimited data plan. Do I need to call verizon? If so do I need to do this everytime I flash it, that seems kind of a pain to do if so.
