Yes you are correct. I work for sprint and the official policy is any referral email that has @sprintemi.com is no longer valid for SERO plan offers. I don't know if they will still work on the website but if you need to be manually switched, find another email or pray the rep that you talk to doesn't read Sprint's Knowledge Management system (which really wouldn't be asking too much from the man upstairs haha).
