the touch comes with a SP. but honestly, after all the trouble I went through and $30 later, I found that the screen is pretty stinkin tough w/o a screen protector. I literally took a set of keys and rubbed them pretty hard against the screen (about as much force it would normally take from puting it in your pocket with the keys). cleaned the screen and not a scratch. I would say these screens are nail, and stilus proof
PS: I do not reccomend or endorse pairing the touch with any metal or hard objects in the same pocket
