I could not find anything on the qualcomm chip either, I've got a IOgear BT receiver that gets 25hrs but does not have WAAS. I should be really looking at a Trimble, but to purchase one for "school" purposes does not make any sense. Your receiver suggestion is definitely useful though. I noticed the battery drain using iGo which forces my screen to stay backlit.

Back to the BT for now...or at least software correction...blah, I hated that puck and line of sight bs...
