I was successfully able to cook up a ROM in the kitchen using no2chem's 5060 basekit. LennySh made it possible by releasing an
install on the ftp that inserts the no2chem 5060 basekit into the kitchen.
I am of the 'cleaner is better' mindset, so I only included the most of the basic components from the kitchen. I encountered a couple of anomalies, including the calculator did not work (installed 1-Calc Lite to fix), an invalid shortcut to Sliding Sounds under Settings --> Personal (installed no2's sliding sound control to fix), an invalid shortcut to Clear Storage under Settings --> System (installed Clear Storage to fix, but there are now two entries for Clear Storage for some reason), and the Beam does not work despite trying a number of different things.
After a fresh restart, I get ~15 Mb of free memory.
