Original ActiveSync settings? Help!

A while back I tried following a poster's suggestion for saving battery by changing some ActiveSync settings. After I adjusted to the suggested settings, the time no longer shows up on my Today screen. And when I plug my phone into my computer and ActiveSync looks for changes, it says Synchronizing for a while, then says, " Connected. Microsoft Exchange: Attention Required. The error message then reads: "Cannot connect with current connection settings. To check your connection settings, select Start, then Settings, then Connections. Support code: 85020006

Any ideas on what I can do to fix this without having to hard reset? I'd really appreciate the help. I can't install the new Mogul upgrade before I figure this out. Thanks.
