In the end it's all about what my company's willing to pay for. Looks like online the Wing goes for about $350, and I'm guessing with their corporate account it's available to them for much less. So the cost would have to be similar enough to be able to sell the idea to them.

Oh, and not really interested in the e-mail aspect of the Blackberries. I don't like their e-mail server setup, and I'm quite strong with Exchange. The Blackberry, again, was only a vague interest to iron out a weak spot in my knowledge. I'm mainly looking to see what's going to be either most comparable to my Mogul or the best complement (as in rounding out functions I'm missing in my Mogul). Tilt is sounding good, though.

I saw those SIM/CID unlockers on XDA when I was first searching for info, but my lack of experience left me unsure if that's exactly what I was supposed to be looking for. What other sort of work would I need to do with it to ensure it's fully functional on the T-Mobile network? A friend of mine bought an unlocked KRZR and went nuts trying to get the internet functioning on it. While I look forward to the challenge and experience, I want to have a good idea of what's involved before I talk my new boss into it.

And I suppose, finally, anyone have a suggestion on a ROM-maker for the Tilt that I should look at with ROMs most similar to what no2chem makes for the Mogul? I like his approach of leaving all the OS essentials, stripping the unneeded carrier crap, and adding a few low-level free utilities to round out what's missing.
