I feel like the space in the top right corner where the "x" button application used to be could be used much more efficiently since there is already a battery gauge at the top of the screen. Anyone else agree?

What other programs sit up in the top right hand corner of the screen? I dont really need the X button application there since i set a long press on the WM logo (start menu) to close all programs, which I really like. I just feel like there is no need for two battery apps (or a memory app). What other useful apps use the top right corner of the screen? And how would i get rid of the battery application in the top right corner if i wanted to replace it with something else? Thank you!
by default, QuickMenu puts a battery icon in the upper right corner. It can be easily disabled by going into quickmenu\option\view then unchecking "show battery on taskbar". Personally I leave it there but change it to percent only.

The only problem I had with the other ROMS were the occasional lock-ups, which I never have with v7... however-as suggestion/question to OMJ- have you started/thought about cooking a new ROM using the newest Sprint 19202 build that JD posted? Derek modified his old one to use this new build and it really improved his old version... It seems more stable and offers more available memory with a few upgraded features.... Looks like a new rom with this from OMJ would be awesome ! Well, keep us updated on the work you are doing.. Also, do you have any suggestions on a more user-friendly kitchen? I am just getting started into 'chef-work' and have looked at the kitchens in your upload folder but haven't had any real time to cook up anything yet. I have programming experience and will hopefully find some time to figure this out, but so far it still looks confusing... Anyways, congratulations on your v7 ROM, it has my vote for the best WM6.1 ROM out so far! +REP for OMJ
yeah, I'll look into that build. I have not been working on any new versions (I'm happy w/ v7). I haven't had time regardless....been extremely busy @ work/home.

until ppckitchen.org releases a gui version kitchen for the Touch, you have to build the hard way (not that hard really). When ppckitchen.org release the gui version for the Touch, it will be very easy to cook you own.

also, if i wanted this ROM, but did not want a few things included could i just remove them before flashing? sorry REALLY new at this..
what i would remove is the NUe MMS, due to the Smms that is available now, which is AWESOME! sprint TV, HTC Home, HHC customizer windows live windows messanger,PIM backup, Yahoo GO.. HOW would i go about removing them?

also i keep getting pop ups abount stuff not being able to be run, clocknot, tsk schedule and someihtng else, but in bad reception areas, i will get literally hundredds of them and have to reset a few tiumes, any fix for that?

Thanks alot!
once programs are in the ROM, they cannot be removed....they can be disabled though.....you would have to cook your own ROM to suit your needs. See the link in my sig.
