Sometimes that's the best answer, and you know that's not what happened. Your complaint (proxy login not working) was heard and I told you I was working on it. Your suggestion (remove login altogether) was also heard, and it was denied. It wasn't denied out of malice and it wasn't denied for no reason. If, rather than tell you no up front, you'd rather we said "Gee - we didn't think of removing the login. What a brilliant idea. We'll get right on that" and then blow you off, let us know.

Good for you! See, "use something else if you don't like it" was good advice after all. (OMG - looks like I did listen and offer useful advice.)

I don't really understand why you think you can't use No2Chem's work, but, I guess since he said no to your demands too, he must be in the pool of deaf, unhelpful, "FU"ers too.

I'm sorry I have a real job that keeps me from meeting your needs faster, and I'm sorry everything isn't the way you think it should be. Sometimes life sucks like that.
