It is simply a front-end so that it feels more like MMS. It sends an email with the picture as the attachment So if you are having problems, 1) you need a working email configuration on your phone. 2) make sure the email is actually sent. nueMMS sent emails by itself 100% of the time when I used my msft exchange account, but for some reason a few times it did not send when using my GMail account (most of the time it did). The talk you were referring to about push email and such is because when a reply is sent from somebody who just received your picture message, it is sent back to the email address from which nueMMS sent it. There was some talk about a way to make it so that the replies would go to your phone as a text/picture message instead. Unfortunately, for reasons unknown, it doesn't seem to work.
I'm sorry that you have been so frustrated with the program, but I assure you it does exactly what it is supposed to. Nothing more, nothing less. It is not No2Chem's fault if pktpix is down or your email is not set up correctly. Make sure the 2 suggestions above are working, and nueMMS may take a bit longer for messages to go through. Be patient, and I'm sure we can get working.

OK so this is what I dont understand if all of our phones have MMS disabled (what is MMS?) and this program is simply sending emails then *because nueMMS is still currently not working for me even when I put in the carriers information* can I just send picture mail from my yahoo account to peoples cell phones using the info provided from the nueMMS program for the different mail carriers like #@message.altell.com as a reg email from my POP3 server that is already set up on my PPC? And if that is the case then what is the need for the program outside of telling me what the email address is for all the different carriers are.
