I have been having a similar issue with the 3.3 But I keep seeing my data connection go from EV to X (no coverage) for no reason. But if I manage to get it to connect to a phone call, it will keep the connection and won't lose service. I haven't heard if there is a remedy yet. I am just bring patient.
