Actually fate is right... add Sprint family locator to your account then track it and take the police there. Show them that the tracking is pointing to their location. Then file a police report. Even if you don't get your phone back at least you will know the name and address of the person who stole it.

A little talk around the school and gym will let everyone know what kind of person they are and they will be watched a lot closer in the future; maybe saving others from your pain...
