Back in September, my son had his Treo 700wx stolen which we had just purchased from Anthony Herrera of MN Vikings. One of his friends took it, and would answer when unoticed calls came through.

This was out of my home, where a lot of things have come up missing. A PSP, many XBOX 360 games (I'm sure well over $1k), movies, my phone (which had a picture of my youngest son and nephew at an amusement park, as the screensaver).

My children don't make the wisest decision in choosing what they call "friends". It makes me want to lockdown my house. It's worse having someone steal from your home, than in a public place. But, i do feel your pain. I hope that they find the heart to give your stuff back.
