I decided since the new .rar doesn't have htc x 1.5 from the last 6.0 build, I took the file out of that rar file added it the the 6.1 version of that rar file then loaded buildOS back up check that as my option.
Now after loading it in my pda runs very very noticably faster and better. The question now that I am asking myself is; Why was it left out and why is 2.0 the only option when clearly IMHO the 1.5 version works better on 6700's.
I truelly appreciate everyone's efforts here and I know someday down the road the 6800 is coming to my future but I LOVE MY 6700 NOW!!!

I noticed the same thing with the HTC Task Manager. System would get very sluggish and sometimes require a soft reset. It was definitely happening more when attempting to interact with it.
I tried a build last night with HkTASK but couldn't deal with the mess it made on the title-bar. It also allowed bypassing the simple-pin password screen by clicking on those same title-bar app shortcuts.
Someone suggested trying O2 Plus earlier in this thread, so I gave it a shot on tonight's first build. It has almost everything I'm looking for, but falls short in a couple key areas:
1) It doesn't seem to identify all running programs like Comm Manager which I have to shut down by running Task Manager from System Settings (which I created a quick-link to on O2's shortcut-bar).
2) It doesn't seem to like Internet Sharing on it's shortcut-bar (wrong icon and won't run).
3) It doesn't allow selecting apps for the shortcut-bar by browsing through directories (maybe semi-fixable by hacking the Registry, but I haven't tried yet).
I will pry end up keeping it to replace the HTC Task Manager and recommend it as a substitute until/unless it gets fixed.
