Hello All,

I am new to this forum. This my first post.

I’ve had my Verizon XV6700 for about a week. (I also have my Boss’s new AT&T 8525 which I am setting up.) This FORUM has been extremely helpful. I’d like to thank everyone for their resourceful posts.

I must have hard-reset the phone at least 30 times after trying hundreds of different applications. Lots of Today applets, utilities, tools, tsk’s, commercial trials, hacks…, just to see what it could do. I could write a book on my experience. (Considering writing a guide for first time PPC users,) I have even created a few custom .TSK screens. (My Dark Side of the Moon.tsk is available for the asking.)

To make reinstalling easier I have created the attached excel spreadsheet to help keep track of installed applications. I hope it will be useful to other users as it has been to me.

I do have the following questions that I have not seen asked before:

1. Change automatically to landscape view when a program is launched.
(I use NOTES often and find it easier to write in landscape.)
2. Add items to the Tap and Hold context menu.
(Would like to add a PROPERTIES option to the file manager context menu to see the complete file name and extension.)
(Instead of only SELECT ALL add a SELECT LAST WORD.)
3. Use mini USB port on the PPC to attach a USB headset.
• (I have a very comfortable stereo USB headset that I use on the desktop that has a USB mini adapter. I’ve not yet found a compatible affordable Bluetooth headset.)
