When there is something plugged into the port on the phone that is recognized as an external sound source, the system defaults to that. IE, it assumes that you are wearing something like the headphones that came with the mogul. So it ignores the bluetooth in favor of the "attached headset"

Since the Seido car kit has a speaker, and presents itself to the phone as a "headset" it will default to that until you unplug it.

Not sure if the dev guys can fix it
