I started a thread about the S9 a couple of days after the new Sprint rom came out. The S9 had worked for me prior to the new rom. The first time I used the S9 after the rom installation I had to hold the phone in the air near the S9 to get unbroken reception. I doubt though, that the rom had anything to do with it. One thing I noticed when the sound was dropping out was that the dropout seemed to coincide with each step, indicating either a loose connection or more likely a jostling battery. My question: Could a poor connection to the battery cause this problem without it soft resetting the phone?
