Ok, digging into the Sprint Stuff, found this gem!
1. Cellone Customization Tools to Package:
[ol][li]Use CabWUZ to extract the CAB file[/li]
[li]In this case all interesting files are in [WINDOWS]
delete CheckFile.exe
delete Customize.lst
Convert Platformxxx.reg to Unicode and save as [GUID].rgu[/li]
Create [GUID].dsm[/li]
[li]rename CM_Entries.xml to mxip_wpc_5.provxml[/li]
done, move [WINDOWS] folder to OEM and rename it[/ol]
!!! NOT TESTED !!!

So, getting these suckers into ROM is possible,
Looks like, to simplify things, I will roll all the CM_Entries.xml into one, rename it as above, and add it as a package. Should do the mojo on cold-boot then.
